Research and Development Cell (R&D)

Convenor: Dr. Suvajit Halder

Introduction
In an era defined by innovation and knowledge, academic institutions play a critical role in fostering research and development. During the recent NAAC peer team visit, the members, in their verbal interaction with the Principal and the institutional team, highlighted the need for a dedicated Research and Development (R&D) Cell at the institution. To enhance academic excellence and contribute meaningfully to societal and national development, it is proposed to establish a Research and Development Cell at Panchakot Mahavidyalaya, under the direct supervision of the IQAC, Panchakot Mahavidyalaya. The R&D Cell will act as a catalyst to cultivate a vibrant research culture, promote interdisciplinary collaboration, and encourage faculty and students to pursue high-quality research and innovation. Additionally, the Cell will oversee the publication of the Journal of Panchakot Mahavidyalaya – PANCHAKOTesSAYS, and supervise or organize seminars, conferences, workshops, faculty development programs (FDPs), special lectures, and other related academic events.
